  1. Microsoft Print to PDF not populating the filename

I am unable to choose the destination or name the file. It just defaults to Microsoft print to PDF as name and saves on desktop. It overwrites any previous file.

  2. Microsoft Print to PDF not populating the filename

When I print to a PDF, it used to be that the filename was populated in the save dialog window (so I didn't need to type it) and the folder location was the last location I saved a PDF to. Now, the file name is "Blank" and I need to manually type something in. How do I get the filename to pre-populate with the filename of the document I am printing to Microsoft Print To PDF? Other similar programs do this, a little frustrated if Microsoft print to PDF can not.

MS Print to PDF: How to get a (PDF) filename suggested?

If I try to use the built-in "Microsoft Print to PDF" I get an empty filename box for the to-be-created PDF. Is there any way to get a suggested PDF filename, especially if there is already an existing filename from the opened file? Example: I open a "Let me print this README.txt" in Notepad++ and would like to get a "Let me print this README.pdf". Is there any setting I could adjust to get this filename suggested rather then type it myself? (-> This topic is not about alternative tools) OS: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 (build 19045.3693)
