Windows 10: Microsoft Print to PDF not working in the last 2 weeks

I am not sure why but I am no longer able to print to pdf. it says it worked but when i go into file explorer it shows at 0 KB. I havent changed anything to my laptop. I have tried to print to pdf and reduce the size of the print job but I am still getting 0 KB after it prints.

To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• What happens when you select small bunch of images and try to print?
• Is the issue specific to the Microsoft Print to PDF?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

• Create a new folder and copy the images you want in PDF.
• Sort the images as you want. (It always copies as per the sorted time/date)
• Set the images in Order/Sequence as you want it to be set in PDF.
• Select all and Print it to PDF.

Occasionally "Microsoft print to pdf" creates empty files

Have already done all of the steps suggested in that link.
The problem only happens occasionally; maybe two or three times a day.
Happening on several PC's, the only way to catch it before it goes to customers is the size of the file created.
If it is 0 or 1kb, it's a blank document.
Microsoft Print to pdf was working fine until about two weeks ago.
