Windows 10: Microsoft Print to PDF not working! Tried everything I have found on the internet

Hi guys, my MS Print to PDF is not working properly and it creates broken files which I cant open with any pdf reader. This led to Onenote not being able to handling printouts from office files, which works only online. I tried the following:- reinstall office-repair office-checked printer drivers-reinstalled windows features many times via control panel-sfc scannow-restarted print spooler or everything related to it...I have been dealing with this issue for weeks now and I haven't found any solution. I don't want to format my Win 11

Microsoft "Print to PDF" prints out Garbage

• Can you provide us a step-by-step screenshot of how you print your documents as PDF?

To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• What happens when you select small bunch of images and try to print?
• Is the issue specific to the Microsoft Print to PDF?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

• Create a new folder and copy the images you want in PDF.
• Sort the images as you want. (It always copies as per the sorted time/date)
• Set the images in Order/Sequence as you want it to be set in PDF.
• Select all and Print it to PDF.

Print to PDF not working

I frequently use PDF printing across a variety of software programs, including MS Word and Quickbooks. Recently, printing to PDF stopped working. For example, when I try to print in Word using Microsoft Print to PDF, I get the following error message:

We couldn't print because there doesn't seem to be a printer installed. :-(

Attempted resolutions:

1. In the optional features window, the "Microsoft Print to PDF" is box checked (I have also tried unchecking and rechecking this box).
2. I ran the command shell (admin) to enable Microsoft Print to PDF. It showed successful completion.
3. In system settings, I've tried:

Add printers & scanners -> The printer that I want isn't listed -> Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings -> Use an existing port -> FILE: (Print to file)

When I select Microsoft as the manufacturer, I have a variety of printers but no PDF option. There are no PDF options for any other listed manufacturer. Notably, there is no Adobe manufacturer listed.

All the Microsoft and internet-based troubleshooting I've looked at has led me to one of the above resolution methods. I have not altered any settings that I'm aware of, including deleting printers. I'm running 64-bit Win10 Home v2004.
