Windows 10: Microsoft Print to pdf saving as un-openable .prn file

Hi, I have disabled and enabled the Microsoft Print to pdf feature and have checked the port. The port is correct but when I go to print it says the file type is Printer FIle and saves as a .prn I have run the RUNDLL32.EXE PRINTUI.DLL,PrintUIEntry /Xg /n "Microsoft Print to PDF" and this is the result:

Hi,

I am currently on Windows 10 and had no problem with the "Microsoft Print to PDF" function until now. Today I just tried to do the same thing as usual, for example with a Word document, and it only allows me to print a file in a ".prn" format. Of course
I can re-open the document in Adobe for example, then save it as PDF file, but it's a big waste of time since I know that my "Microsoft Print to PDF" printer was able to quickly do that before...

I tried to reinstall the printer, but doesn't work...Someone please help me, I don't know what to do.
