Windows 10: Microsoft purchases automatic billing

Hello,


I have been the victim of Microsoft's automatic billing over multiple years ... charged for products no longer in use. I had absolutely no idea because I'm slack in checking my account transactions.


Microsoft Office to be precise. My publisher INSISTS I use WORD.


Today, I needed to renew, and despite the enormous fights I've repeatedly had with this idiotic company, they sent me a notice that I'll be automatically billed when my subscription runs out.


So, I lost it ... again. I demanded a refund. I just can't stand this sort of repeated stupidity.


I want to move away from Microsoft Office completely before I go crazy. My documents need to be WORD compatible.


Am I best just moving to APPLE?


Is there other better options away from Microsoft?

Carrier Billing to purchase apps.

Is there a chance of bringing Vodafone India Carrier Billing as only Tata DoCoMo and Idea are supported for billing to purchase apps in store in India? If you can't say about it whom should I suggest this to add Vodafone as an option to eg @LumiaHelp ,
etc?

 

Bill Gates Retires From Microsoft

The founder and head of Microsoft, the world's largest software company Bill Gates steps down on Friday. One of the richest men in the world, Gates will now work full time for his charitable organization The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The 52-year-old will continue to be chairman though, but will only retain a nominal role in the software empire. He is still is the biggest shareholder of the company and his 8.7 per cent stake in Microsoft is worth about 23 billion dollars.

Gates authored the personal computer revolution three decades ago when he founded Microsoft along with his friend Paul Allen.
