Windows 10: Microsoft Remote Desktop client wont connect

Microsoft Remote Desktop client wont connect to some computers giving "Error code: 0x4 Extended error code: 0x0 Activity ID: {07661576-a516-449b-b1a1-8ef9dbe50000}" However I am able to remote in with the built in windows Remote Desktop application without any issues. How can i rectify this i prefer to use the Microsoft Remote Desktop Application because it has better scaling features.

Are the computers connected to the same network, when they are next to each other?



If yes, you will be able to remote desktop as they are connected to the same network without any issues. As you are trying to remote from a different place the computers should be connected to internet to use the Remote desktop
connection. I suggest to refer this section Get started with Remote Desktop on Windows under article
