Windows 10: Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac v10.7.5 - Issue with Redirect Folders Not Available or...

Hello!I'm trying to find an answer for this issue we have in our environment. I've tried internet searching the issue, but there seems to be very little on this issue. Our users are experiencing issues to where the local folders they would like to redirect in an AVD session will not show up if using Microsoft Remote Desktop app for Mac past 10.6.8. The feature still works in MRDP app for Mac 10.6.8, but started on 10.7.x we no longer have the ability to setup folder redirection for the macs. Is there a fix for this or a work around to get the current version to show the redirected folders agai

Redirecting Windows Mobile devices with Remote Desktop 7

I am trying to get my Windows Mobile 6.5 device to be redirected from my desktop PC to my remote desktop (VDI workstation), with both running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I have tried natively with the Remote Desktop Client, and with the Fabulatech USB over
Network and UDB for Remote Desktop with no success. If I bypass Remote Desktop (i.e. I connect to the remote desktop via VNC or the vSphere Infrastructure Client and use UDB over Network to redirect the WM device, all works just fine. In fact, When I look
at Device Manager on the remote system, I see the "Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter" in the Network Adapters list. If I disable "Advanced networking capabilities" on the WM device, I see "HP USB Sync" under Mobile devices. However, WMDC does not connect
with WM device.

I can see there are a number of people that are unable to get this to work. Can anyone provide any working steps to redirect a Windows Mobile phone device through Remote Desktop?

 

Error: 0x204 when trying to connect to server using Microsoft remote desktop app on Mac

I understand that you are receiving the error 0x204 when trying to connect to the server using the Microsoft remote desktop app for Mac.



You can try the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.

1. Quit the remote desktop program on Mac and hold the option key.
   
2. Now click on the Go menu to enable the library and select the user’s that.
   
3. Now navigate into containers folder and copy com.microsoft.rdc.macos and com.microsoft.rdc.mac and paste it on a different location.
   
4. Now go back to the user’s library and open the group containers folder
   
5. Copy UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.rdc and paste it on a different location.
   
6. Restart the PC.
   

Also, you can try resetting the network settings for your Mac and see if that helps. Refer the article by Apple on

Microsoft Remote Desktop Mac Mouse porblems
