Windows 10: Microsoft remote pc for android

I tried using the Microsoft remote desktop for android and I keep getting an error when trying to sign into my account I checked 3 times to make sure I'm using the right account and password please help

Remote app for android

I recently traded in my iphone for an android, and just realized that hippo remote is iphone only. I'm looking for a similar app for android so I can use it as a remote for my htpc. Any suggestions?

I've tried using two phones Motorola moto G (35d Generation) android 6.0.1

Download was from Android Play Store

and samsung Galaxy S6 Android 7.0 Download was from Samsungs store

I'm not sure that the Target that I am remoting to is relevant as the ANDROID APP

converts from a numeric URL 51.148.150.51 to HTTPS://51.148.150.51 is done by the app before it even tries to do the connection

(51.148.150.51 works fine if I try to remote to it with the PC version of Remote)

If I try to edit the s out it says its not a valid URL

But for the record its remoting into a PC running W7

Remote does not use a browser does it ? I normally run Firefox
