Windows 10: Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse Glitch in Windows 10

I have been using Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse for 4-5 years and I was very happy with its shortcuts and very comfortable grip, until my company replaced my machine using also Windows 10 version 1909 same as the previous version, in the new machine, when I added the mouse to it and starting using it, it started freezing for half a second when I use the shortcuts in its gestures I have Microsoft Keyboard and mouse center installed and I configured copy and past in swipe up and down, however, the short freeze issue is not frustrating as much as the other issue, that it some times continues pressing the 1st key of the shortcut, like if I am using Ctrl+C it will continue pressing the Ctrl key so when I press any other key in the keyboard or scroll up or down, it acts as if I am pressing the Ctrl with it.


I tried some fixes like turning off "Power Management" check box in device manager for all related devices with no benefit, I have no any other Bluetooth device connected to the same machine, and I tried re-installing the MS K&M center and updating the mouse driver, all not worked :

I suggest you to install the Sculpt comfort mouse drivers in Compatibility Mode and check if it helps.

Please refer the below link to install the drivers in compatibility mode,

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode.

• Download the driver from the website.
• Right click the driver installation file and select Properties then tap or click the
  Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
• Try installing the driver and check.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated drivers, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to uninstall the mouse drivers.

• Right click on Windows key,
  select Device Manager.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right click on each of the drivers and click on
  Uninstall.

Step 2: Manually install the mouse drivers from the link below.

Please note that Microsoft sculpt Comfort Mouse has inbuilt Bluetooth and does not require a dongle. Just press and hold the Bluetooth key to turn it on.





You will need to download and install the
Software & Drivers for your Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse. After which, you can follow the steps below to add the mouse to your Laptop:

1. Open Windows Settings (Windows key + I).
   
2. Then click on Devices.
   
3. Then click on Bluetooth & other devices.
   
4. Then click on Add Bluetooth & other devices and add the mouse.
   

If you want a Bluetooth dongle for your laptop, then you will need to check on third party websites or in local stores. Alternatively you can also check with our supplement parts team, if they can help you. You can reach them at:
