    Microsoft Sculpt consistently misses first keystroke- how can I resolve this?


    Hi There. It seems like this is a constant issue and the resolutions for many answers in the community have not helped me thusfar. Ever since I've purchased this keyboard, it drops keystrokes. Most notably, the first keystroke if I stop typing for a moment. Its almost as if the keyboard goes to sleep and the first keystroke wakes it up.I am on two Windows 10 systems - my work computer and my personal computer. Each has the exact same issue. My personal computer allows me admin rights obviously so I am able to update/download more freely there. My device manager tells me the drivers are all u

    Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop missing keystrokes

    Hi,

    I have a Windows Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop that are missing the first keystroke after it has been of use for some time. It is just the first keystroke and then it works normally.

    I have Windows 10 Pro version 1709

    Is there som kind of fix or setting for this problem?

    Sculpt Comfort Keyboard not registering 1st keystroke

    Hello Kit,

    An outdated or incompatible driver can be one of the possible factors why this issue occurs. That being said, I suggest you to Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
    and check. Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

    1. Press Windows key + S on your keyboard.
    2. Type Troubleshoot and hit
      Enter.
    3. Click on Hardware and Devices.
    4. Run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen prompt.

    Also suggest you to go the link below and download the latest drivers for the keyboard and see if it helps to resolve the issue:
