Windows 10: Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Set USB Dongle Issue

Hi,I purchased an ms sculpt keyboard and mouse set. The dongle was damaged and now it doesn't work. Is there any way to replace the dongle or buy a new dongle? Because the keyboard and mouse work. I just need a new dongle, I can buy it. Can you help with this? I paid 130 € for this set, and I hope I don't have to throw it away.Thanks in advance.

I suggest you to get in touch with the Microsoft Hardware
Support to know about the replacement criteria. Meanwhile, you may also go through the
Warranty Limit Manual given under Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop.

We understand the concern as you are facing difficulties in connecting the
Sculpt ergonomic desktop set on the new PC.
In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 currently installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
• What is the make and model of the PC?

Meanwhile we would suggest you to update driver
and check.

1. Connect the Sculpt ergonomic desktop set
   
2. Press Windows + X key
   and select Device Manager from the context menu.
   
3. Spot and expand the “Universal Serial Bus controllers”.
   
4. Right click on the USB Composite Device driver and select
   “Update driver”
   
5. Select Search automatically for drivers. Follow the onscreen steps
   
6. Restart the PC and check.
   

We would also suggest you to refer the methods as mentioned in these articles:
