Windows 10: Microsoft sculpt ergonomic keyboard surface edition model 1559 stops working

My Microsoft sculpt ergonomic keyboard surface edition model 1559 stops working after about a minute. It is a mouse/keyboard combination with the same 2.4 dongle and the mouse continues working. I have tried different USB ports and 2 different computers. Same issue. The only way to get it to work again is to remove and replace the batteries, after which it works for about a minute. I have tried putting her laptops power mode to high performance. The laptop it needs to work with is a corporate laptop so I have not yet been able to adjust the settings of the device itselft via the device manager

Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard driver for mac pro

Hi,

I have lost the USB connector required to pair the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard (model: 1559). Would you kindly suggest the appropriate keyboard keys to scan/pair with the Mac Pro bluetooth connection and also provide the necessary drivers for download?

The microsoft ergonomic keyboard model 1559 - replacement / disability

The microsoft ergonomic keyboard model 1559 appears to be discontinued sadly - I have used this for a number of years due to my disability. Is there a replacement model?

 

Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard Randomly Stopped Working

I have had the same Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard for the last 5 months, and it has worked great! I have a Macbook Pro and connect the keyboard with the USB dongle. Unfortunately this week in the middle of typing something out, the keyboard completely stopped working. I have tried multiple different USB ports on my computer, I have restarted the computer, changed the batteries in the keyboard, plugged the USB dongle back into the keyboard waited a while and then tried again. Nothing has worked. The keyboard just doesn't type anything.

If it is helpful my computer is a 16 inch macbook pro with 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 as a processor and running on macOS Ventura v13.6. The keyboard is the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard Surface Edition Model 1559.
