    Microsoft sculpt mouse - button on the side of windows blue button - how to disable


    The Blue Button prompts the windows start up menu. The button to the left of that and on the side takes you back one screen.


    I accidentally click this side button with my thumb so many times. I don't need to disable the windows blue button BUT I DO NEED TO disable the side button.


    Please tell me how

    Sculpt Mouse issues, the windows button

    Sorry if this is in the wrong category but I don't see any categories for mouses. I tried looking for somewhere to send feedback to microsoft on mouses but I honestly could not find anything.

    I currently use a microsoft ergonomic sculpt mouse because I actually love bluetrack over laser and optical and I feel more comfortable holding one of these mouses than the big name gaming mouses. But one thing about this mouse kinda ticks me off. The
    blue windows button. You cannot change it whatsoever. It is always mapped to the start menu. In Microsoft's Mouse and Keyboard Center... there is no way to unmap it or change this button.

    You can actually map this button to something else within games like The Division. However once you do map it... and then you click this button, your frame rate in games will drop like crazy for using this button. I assume this is because it opens your
    start menu while you are playing. The other side button on this mouse does not do that and it works just fine with it mapped to anything.

    It would be great if microsoft can let us map or unmap the windows button on this mouse in a future update to the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center.
