Windows 10: Microsoft sculpt mouse on windows 10 lenovo

I recently purchased a Microsoft sculpt mouse. Everything worked fine in the installation and functioning of the mouse. Every five minutes or so, the mouse will stop working. The mouse power is on the whole time, so that isn't the problem. I tried removing the mouse, and repairing it to my laptop which did not fix the issue either. The way I get it to work again is keeping settings open on the Bluetooth device page and using my touch pad on my laptop to navigate to there, and that typically re-allows me to use the mouse without having to do anything setting wise. But after using the mouse again for about five minutes, I have to go through the same process because my mouse stops working.


I tried using the device manager as well, but it responded that all of my Bluetooth options were working correctly.


I would like to not have to mes with the process and have my mouse work correctly.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated drivers, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to uninstall the mouse drivers.

• Right click on Windows key,
  select Device Manager.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right click on each of the drivers and click on
  Uninstall.

Step 2: Manually install the mouse drivers from the link below.

Microsoft Bluetooth Sculpt Comfort mouse Windows 10

I understand the inconvenience you are facing. Let me help you in resolving the issue.

I suggest you to install the Sculpt comfort mouse drivers in Compatibility Mode and check if it helps.

Please refer the below link to install the drivers in compatibility mode,

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode.

• Download the driver from the website.
• Right click the driver installation file and select Properties then tap or click the
  Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
• Try installing the driver and check.

Microsoft Sculpt Mouse disconnecting with Windows 10

Have the same problem. Tried all of the suggestions by Karthicka_R but it still did not solve the problem. Windows 10 Professional recognizes the mouse, attempts to pair, states that it is paired, and the mouse does not respond. I have downloaded the
latest Windows 10 Microsoft Sculpt Mouse drivers, for 64-bit systems. None of this happened in Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. I received a message of a device driver error. Think that the engineers at Microsoft, need to look into this issue more closely. Love
of the Microsoft Sculpt Mouse, but have had to go to a Logitech Mouse with a dongle, in order to use a mouse with this computer.
