    Hi All,
    Was browsing a site yesterday and seen a writeup on something Microsoft done. The heading on the site is below.

    "Unforced error – Windows 10 downloads unto ALL eligible PC’s like it or not"

    It seems Microsoft done this to all who reserved Win10.
    I didn't see it mentioned on this forum so I did not want to post the link.
    Wondering if the mods here know anything about this statement?

    Problems with installing Windows 10 Home OEM on New PC

    When trying to install windows I can only get the first green checkmark when its copying files, when it comes to prepping the installation files it fails, but I just recently bought it. I've also tried disconnecting my SSD and using my new HDD but same results
    with an error once it starts prepping installation files.

    Windows 10 Says I needed better Video Card. Ok - fixed that...now what?

    My initial Windows 10 eval of my machine said my video card wasn't compatible. When I now go and say get windows 10, it still is complaining about my old video card (now removed and replaced with a Win10 compatible version).

    So...what gives? How do I ask the Win10 prep app to re-scan my machine and install Win10?

    Anyone? Microsoft send Win10 prep files :)

    According to what I read, the statement is wrong. The update has not only been downloaded to PCs, on which the upgrade had been reserved, but to all Windows 7/8.1 PCs.
