Windows 10: Microsoft site for bitlocker recovery key is unavailable - how to report this issue?

Hello,My friend did install one of the latest Windows updates. The update failed and the Bitlocker function was enabled, therefore Bitlocker now asks for the Recovery Key. My friend has it on his Microsoft account. Unfortunately the page aka.ms/myrecoverykey is unavailable and an error is displayed with the corresponding error code: TraceID: XieDDen47UyyJGTN.17.97He thought that it would be a temporary issue. Unfortunately, since 4 days nothing changes. He'd like to report this issue somehow, but doesn't know how to report it to the Microsoft Support.Does anyone have any ideas how to repo

1. Are you not able login to your computer due to BitLocker Recovery Key?
2. Did you ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key on your computer?
3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key?
4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional?

Meanwhile, try finding BitLocker Recovery Key if you have ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key for your computer.

Please elaborate on the issue, so that we can understand the concern and get back to us to help you further.

 

PC prompting for Bitlocker recovery key, cannot find the recovery key

1. Since when are you facing this issue?
   
2. Are you aware of any changes being made to the PC?
   
3. Which version of Windows is installed on the PC?
   
4. What is the make and model of the PC?
   

This issue can be caused if a BIOS/firmware update has been pushed to your PC either through Windows Updates or any other OEM media update.



If you have set up the Bitlocker on your PC, I suggest you to look for the recovery key on your Microsoft account. Also, you can refer the article

Find my BitLocker recovery key.

Bitlocker Recovery key on start up and unavailable

Im sorry,

I have already tried the solutions you suggested.

I did not ever create a bit lock. when i was plugging in my charger in and out, i believe the laptop detected it as a threat and created this bitlock security.

The link you provided to retrieve my recovery key (on microsoft account) is unavailable, because i never created it in the first place.

also the links you other link where it show how to retrieve bit lock, i never saved the password key because i never created the key
