Windows 10: Microsoft sore opening by itself and glitch and other

Discus and support Microsoft sore opening by itself and glitch and other in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; So i just come back from a long break and i come back on my pc after a week and suddenly my microsoft store app keep opening and spamming the app...     Microsoft sore opening by itself and glitch and other


    So i just come back from a long break and i come back on my pc after a week and suddenly my microsoft store app keep opening and spamming the app gaming service. Also when i click on my search bar on my desktop it just closes when i click it after like 1 or 2 sec or more it just closes. Its like if i had a virus but i dont know whats the problem. Pls help.

    Hi Micheal,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    • Is this the only account on the computer?
    • Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

    It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

    • Click on search in taskbar and type account.
    • Click on Accounts.
    • Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
    • Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
    • Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    We understand your concern as you are unable to set the Ghostery Privacy Ad blocker as an extension to the Edge browser. We noticed that most of the extensions available in Microsoft Sore is for Legacy/old Microsoft Edge browser. We would like to know
    the Edge version currently installed on the PC.



    If you are using the New Microsoft Edge, then I would suggest you to perform these steps to add Ghostery Privacy Ad blocker as an extension to new Edge browser.

    1. Open Microsoft Edge
    2. Click on the three dots (…) from the right top corner.
    3. Select Extensions
      from the drop down and click on Get extensions from Microsoft Store
      from the left pane.
    4. Now in the new window search for Ghostery and follow the onscreen steps to install it.
