Sticky Notes GONE after forced Win 10 update

My sticky notes disappeared today, and I followed some of the instructions here to find and restore the stn file, but the folder was empty so there was nothing to restore. I then went to the app store, as Michael_C_T suggested, but I didn't download Sticky
Notes 8. That doesn't appear to be a Microsoft product. However, when I clicked on the
Microsoft Sticky Note app, it gave me the option to "update." (It was the first on the list when I searched "sticky notes.") So I did, and my sticky notes came back.

 

Windows 10 Sticky Notes vanished

All the answers are before 6-10-16, when Microsoft removed sticky notes, are wrong. Microsoft also removed

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Sticky where the used to be. Accept it your Microsoft sticky notes are gone.

The apps that Microsoft recommends in the Microsoft store are clumsy. there is an app "stickies" that is similar, but better and backs up notes.

THE REMOVAL OF MICROSOFT STICKY NOTES WITHOUT WARNING IS OUTRAGEOUS!

Had this update 6 days ago.....4 other updates today.

 

Weird, I got the other app updates but not the camera one, at least not yet! But I did get the camera update come through on our other pc

 

This might be because my previous post was from a Surface Pro 4 which includes Windows Hello biometric facial identification for signing in.

Yeah there have been a few of late. The sticky notes one came through on the 9th so you prob already got it last week. I was just a bit miffed the camera app update got mentioned on here and whilst one of our home PCs got it, our main machine hasn't. Dencal might be right with the explanation but the machine that did receive it is just a BRIX box, doesn't even have a camera or anything fancy. The main pc obediently picked up all the others recent ones like sticky notes, xbox, voice recorder, calculator but the camera app update remains an elusive mystery. I guess it'll get offered it eventually. I seem to remember one PC getting a facebook update once whilst the other one did not for some strange reason until several days later. I guess there must be method to madness in how they deliver. For the most part both PCs generally get the app updates at the same time but it's these occasional oddities that puzzle.

 

Yes just got it and camera, and xbox app as well
As you can see I am in Office insider fast ring so that may of had something to do with it
