Windows 10: Microsoft still doesn’t have Movies & TV app for iOS & Android?

So it’s 2024 and I just fell for the trap on slickdeals.net where i purchased a collection of James Bond movies from the Microsoft store to find out that there is no way i can play these movies, as i do not own a device that runs windows. I have a Mac and an iPhone and a bunch of 2024 smart TVs at home. I tried installing Movies Anywhere app on my iPhone and linking Microsoft Movies & TV account to it, but none of the movies i purchased show up in the library. What can i do to actually view these movies? Does Microsoft have a plan for making Movies & TV app available on iOS and Android

Movies & TV app not working properly.

Hi,

I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key.
• Type Windows Powershell.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.
