Microsoft Storage Spaces conflicts with Samsung NVMe disk ?

Hello, I have three SAMSUNG SSD disks, two in SATA and a third in NVMe 990 Pro NVMe.The NVMe disk disconnects after a while. When starting the PC everything seems normal, then later, I discover that it has become inaccessible. I still see it in the explorer, I am even able to access to the folders in its root, but if I browse the disk and opening a folder, I get en error message "The disk is inacessible". This disconnection not happen if I'm currently using the drive. I don't know why but it does happen systematically if I run a game on Steam VR located on the other disks.I contacted the S

Conflicting information on my Storage Space...

From disk management, it does report the same storage and used space as from explorer.
May I ask did you try to create a storage pool or something ? if so, you should not mess with this.

Is this disk an external disk connected via USB ? WD or Seagate branch ?

I have the feeling that this disk is formatted with GPT type using 512K emulation so Windows get confused. To verify:

    1. Right click on Disk 6 ->Properties->Volumes. What does it show on partition styles ? GPT ?
    2. Download Best Free Partition Manager for Windows | MiniTool Partition Free, install then run. What does it show on disk 7 ? MBR ?

If step 1 shows GPT and step 2 shows MBR then definitely the disk was formatted using 512K emulation. The reason they did this so that it would be recognized by WinXP or if you connect it to a TV.

Windows Updates failed is another problem you have. First, it tried to updates from 1703 -> 1709 and failed so any subsequent updates to 1803 also failed.

Based on all the screen shots. Disk Management, Disk Properties and Partition Wizard: The used and unused space are consistent. Your disk is configured as GPT disk correctly.
Apparently, you did create a pool in the past. Here's my screen shot of Storage spaces:

Follow this link to remove this disk from the pool:

The correct way to find out the usage of each disk in your PC is: Settings->System->Storage:

Microsoft Storage Spaces conflicts with Samsung NVMe disk ?

    Storage spaces and Samsung HDD

I have just upgraded from win 7 to Win 10. With win 7 I had a RAID 10 setup with 3 Samsung HD drives and a single WD HDD. All drives are 1TB. I have installed a Samsung NVMA on the M/B and have installed the new OS on that, so I want to use the 4 HD drives
as a storage space instead of a RAID. I selected all 4 drives to create a PARITY storage space but the space accepted only the WD drive and reported a connection problem for the other 3. All 4 drives are visible in Disk Manager and are functioning as stand
alone drives. When I tried to add the drives (one at a time and all together) to the storage space they were NOT added and were then reported as unformatted in Disk Manager. How do I get storage spaces to add these 3 drives?
