Microsoft Store and Game Downloading/Running Issue

Back in November, I ran into an issue with Sea of Thieves specifically. I played online one day, and I tried launching it again the next day, but after a few seconds it immediately closed. I looked into this issue and couldn't find a solution after searching Rares forum pages for fixes. Then, In January, my friends and I decided to try and play Astroneer off of Xbox Game Pass together. I was able to download the game, launch it, and play by myself, but I could not connect to friends. I looked into this issue, and still could not find an answer. Another issue came up in March, when I attempted to download Bleeding Edge. An error message appeared when I tried downloading it, saying that an issue occurred on "our" end. I tried downloading other games as well, such as both versions of Ori and recently Minecraft Dungeons to no avail. Frustrated, my friends and I concluded that I had an issue with my Xbox Live Multiplayer, as the NAT Type says "Teredo is unable to qualify", and that my "server connectivity is blocked"I've attached a screenshot for clarification. Could this be my issue? I've tried every solution on the support site, and yet nothing is working.

I should also mention that I do not personally own Xbox Live or Xbox Game Pass. My brother does on the Xbox console, and I am in his Xbox family. I do not know if this complicates things or is the source of my issue, but if it is please let me know.

Thank you for reading. Any help is appreciated

    Ryan

not able to download games from store

    Hi,

There are several possible reasons as to why you're encountering issues with downloading games from the Windows Store. Here's a list of the common factors:

    • Your account may be restricted from downloading games that are inappropriate for your age.
    • Games you're trying to download are not available in your current region.
    • Corrupted app data
    • An outdated Windows 10 OS

For us to determine the root cause of this issue, kindly answer the following questions:

    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • Are you using an adult or a child account?
    • Is the Microsoft account you're using in the Windows Store app the same as your Windows 10 user account?
    • Are you using an administrator user account?

In the meantime, we suggest running the Windows apps troubleshooter provided on this

    link
. This can help resolve issues with downloading and installing games from the Windows Store.
