Windows 10: microsoft store and outside downloads

When I originally got Minecraft on my pc I Installed Minecraft through their website but I recently broke my Xbox controller and decided to try and join my Xbox fiends on pc it said I have to use the app from the Microsoft store so obviously I don't want to buy it a again. Is the their a way I can use the one I bought from the Minecraft website to join them?

How to enable downloading from outside the Microsoft Store

Hello,

I'm having a problem installing from outside the Microsoft store. It says "Your PC's settings only let it install verified apps from the store". It also gives me an option to go to the settings to enable it but I don't see a drag down box to enable
it where it is suppose to be located like in other people's laptop. I heard that for the Windows 10 S they designed it that you wouldn't be able to download from outside the Microsoft store but I have the Windows 10 1709 Version.

Downloading is Slow from Store.

I suggest you to clear Windows Store cache and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows logo key + R.
• Type wsreset.exe on Run window and press enter.
• Check if issue persists.

Try to run the sfc scan and check if the Windows store downloads faster:

Run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption.
SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

• Press Windows key + X, click
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  
  sfc /scannow
