  1. Microsoft Store asks me to change to system drive

I've been attempting to update the Alienware Control Centre that manages my keyboard RGB from the Microsoft Store. However, the update errors out, notifying me that the app must be install to the system drive. Even if I change the setting to allow this, the Microsoft Store still gives me the same error. Proof: https://imgur.com/a/kOAeyzD

I've been thinking of reinstalling the Aleinware Command Centre, but this would be at the cost of my macros and keyboard settings, so I'd like to try other methods of fixing this if possible. If anyone has ideas on fixing this interesting little glitch, I'd love to hear them.

  3. Windows Store, Microsoft Edge

    Hi,

This error code might appear when the system failed to connect to Windows Store. It might be caused by a third-party software or program that prevents accessing default applications. For better assistance, we would like to ask the following:

    • Have you made any recent changes on your computer prior to the issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you run the troubleshooter for Windows Store and Microsoft Edge. For your reference, check this
article on how to run the troubleshooter for Microsoft Edge. Follow these steps on how to perform

  4. Microsoft Store asks me to change to system drive

Changing the default storage designation for the Microsoft Windows Store and various apps.

    Hi Isaac,

The default storage location for the Windows store and apps is in system location where Windows is stored (This PC-> C drive), if you want to change the default location of the apps then I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the settings
    and check if it helps.

    • Open Settings and click on the System icon.
    • Click on Storage on the left side, on the right side under
Save locations, select the drive to where you want your
      documents
      , music, pictures, and/or
      videos
to be saved to by default.
    • Click/tap on Apply.

The above settings option is available only from the Windows version (10586), I suggest you to check in which version of Windows build in installed on your computer.

Please get back to us with an update on this issue, we will be happy to assist you further.

    Thank you
