Windows 10: Microsoft Store button greyed out

Not a question, but a solution. I forget the user's name, but he had the same issue as me. MS 'GET' button is greyed out and other functionality of MS programs, like the Xbox app, were not launching. Uninstalled and couldn't reinstall. Windows 10 and 64 bit OSI fixed this issue on my PC, by going into the the programs and features app, this is DISTINCTLY different from the apps & features. In the bar on the left side, you can select the link 'View installed Updates'.I scrolled to the Microsoft Windows part of this window and began to uninstall everything labeled update for MS Windows.

Install Button on Microsoft Store

• Does this issue happen only on that particular app only?
• Have you done any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
• Have you tried checking other apps if they don't have install button also?

Microsoft Store

I downloaded Icloud from Microsoft Store but had to uninstall it. Icloud now shows in my Start Menu but not in the Programmes/apps list. I want to reinstall the app but the install button at the app store is greyed out. It just says 'you already own this
app'. Can anyone suggest how I can reinstall please? I've tried emptying the store cache but that did not work.

Get button is white on white bachground, Microsoft store

Hi all,

I had a thread running about being unable to add the Raw image extension from the store. After lots of store re-setting I found the "get"button was actually white on white so not visible unless you look really closely. Here is a screen shot:




Appreciate advice on how to get the button visible again. I have terminated and reset the app multiple times, logged in and out of the store and run wsreset.exe many times all from running as admin.

One suggestion has been to create a different account to see if that works better.

I can see other buttons in the store are also white text on white but against a grey BG, for example when looking at movies.
