Windows 10: Microsoft Store does not open and Microsoft Photos is missing and will not install

I tried to reinstall Microsoft Photos by this suggestion and it failed:Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.Windows.Photos Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$$_.InstallLocation\AppXManifest.xml"}I tried everything to reestablilsh the microsoft store.....I did a Win10 upgrade keeping the files and programs 2X and that did not work either.....I could upgrade to Windows 11 but I am afraid all these Win 10 problems will follow me to Win 11.There has to be a sure fire solution to get Microsoft Store & Microsoft Photos

Missing "uninstallable" apps, microsoft store, microsoft photos

Bottom Line up-front: I need to know how to reinstall the Microsoft Store App, I have already tried reset this PC (keep my files) and I'd rather not do a completely fresh install of windows if it can be avoided. The screenshot below shows that the apps just are no longer on my computer.

Long Version: About a week ago my computer just stopped opening images, I cannot remember the exact error message I was receiving but it mentioned something along the lines of something cannot be found in the registry. So I googled the error message and somewhere down the list troubleshooting options I got the instruction to find microsoft photos in the apps menu and try clicking the restart, then reset buttons.

I did this, and the microsoft photos app disappeared entirely, I then went to try and open the microsoft store app and got the error "You'll need a new app to open this ms-windows-store link". Upon following the troubleshooting for this I eventually arrived at the instruction to click the same restart/reset buttons for the microsoft store app. I was tentative but after I exhausted all my options I tried it, and the same thing happened to this app. It disappeared entirely.

I have since followed a myriad of different troubleshooters, a lot of which have had me try to install the store app directly using powershell. I have also reset my PC, thinking this was a last resort and knowing I'd have to reinstall all my programmes but even this has not recovered my microsoft store app!

I'm at a complete loss, every online resource I find, at some point in its step-by-step, has the "find in apps >>> click advanced options >>> click restart/reset" which leads me to believe that the issue is not the same one I am trying to solve and somehow, some base level files are missing from my windows install even though I've used the reset function.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I have included a screenshot for complete clarity and to prove I am not going mad, the apps really aren't there.

New EDIT: I am just adding the links to two of the troubleshooting lists I have already tried as a couple of responses are suggesting I try some of the things on these. As mentioned above, both at some point mention also using the restart and reset functions so I am fairly sure that the steps that also involve using Powershell to reinstall using Get appxpackage also won't work.

Minecraft installation in Microsoft store

We understand your concern as you are unable to install Minecraft in Microsoft Store. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  

• Do you have any non-Microsoft antivirus program installed?
  
• Does this issue occur for all games & apps from the store?
  

• What is the date and time on the PC and ensure it is correct?
• Do you get any error message or code?

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these steps and after every step check if you are able to install the game.

Step 1: Reset the Windows Store Cache: Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the
Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

Note:
A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

Step 2: Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter: Select the
Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security
> Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.

Step 3: If you have any non-Microsoft security/antivirus software installed, disable it temporarily and then try installing the game.

Step 4: If the issue persists, then we would suggest you to create a new administrator user account and check, refer this article to

create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10.

i cant open microsoft store or photos

when i try to open photos it says "There’s a problem with Photos. Reinstall the application from its original install location or contact your administrator." and i cant reinstall itfrom the microsoft storebecause when i click on microsoft store nothing happens it doesnt even close the search can anyone please help my windows version is 20H2
