Windows 10: Microsoft Store Error Code 0x80080005, Windows 10

So this is a new issue that has come up over the past couple weeks, every time I try to install the game, I get an error code: 0x80080005.


This is preventing me from installing any game or app. Originally encountered on Forza Motorsport 7, tried with other games like Candy Crush and got the same result. I've also tried installing games from other platforms like Steam and have had 0 issues. I've already tried to reset the store cache via the wsreset.exe, though that just pulls up a dialogue window that never does anything. Left it alone for over an hour Troubleshooting it via the apps troubleshooter has also proved fruitless.


What does this code mean, and how do I fix it?

Hi, I keep getting the error Code: 0x80080005 when trying to update m apps from the store. I've tried troubleshooter & resetting
