Windows 10: Microsoft Store fails to open on PC

Okay, for me right now, the Store is completely broken. It doesn't even try to open anymore if I click on it. Nothing happens at all. I even tried running the WSReset command to try and fix it, and when it was done, this dialog box showed up: "You'll need a new app to open this ms-windows-store link". Like, what is even going on? I have never ran into this issue before. Now it's like the Store is corrupted or something. Is anyone else having this issue? And how do I fix it? It is kinda irritating.

• Press Windows key + R key to open Run.
• Type wsreset.exe and press
  Enter.
• Restart the PC, sign in with your Microsoft user account and check if you are able to find Windows Store.

Try the following steps:

  Press Windows + R keys to open Run window
  
• 
  Type wsreset.exe and hit enter.
  

Now try to open Windows store and see if that helps.

The Modern app troubleshooter can automatically identify and fix some problems with apps and the Store.

Try to run the Windows store Apps troubleshooter, the steps are mentioned below:

1. Type ‘Troubleshooting’ in the search bar and press Enter.

2. Click on ‘View all’ on the left panel of the ‘Troubleshooting’ window.

3. Click on ‘Windows store app’ and follow on the screen instruction.



If the issue still persists, follow method 2.

Method 2:

I suggest you to follow the below given steps and check if issue is resolved.

  Press Windows key + R key
  to open Run
  
• 
  Type wsreset.exe and press Enter
  
• 
  Restart the PC and sign in with Microsoft User account and check if you are able to find Windows Store.
