Windows 10: Microsoft Store in Win 11 unable to update any apps

So I've been unable to update any apps in the Microsoft Store for about 2 weeks now. All are giving the same error Code: 0x800706D9.I've followed some of the online suggestions of running wsreset.exe and even trying to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Store through PowerShell in Admin mode with no success. The store is an app that even says it needs updating, but can't download it at all.Can't even upload a screenshot here as it says the file fails to upload. All other web browsing and internet are working fine even on entirely different networks.

Windows 11 Unable to update apps in Microsoft Store

You can try resetting and clearing the Microsoft Store cache. All the cache files in Windows Store will be cleared if you perform a reset or the cache files of Windows Store. It will permanently delete your sign-in details.

• Reset Microsoft Store
  
  Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Store > Click on the three dots on the right side then click on advanced options > Reset.
  

• To clear the Microsoft Store cache follow the instructions:
  
  Press the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog
  
  Type WSReset.exe into Run, and click/tap on OK.
  
  A command prompt will now open without any message. After about 30 seconds, the command prompt will automatically close, and the Microsoft Store app will open.

We understand your concern and we appreciate the effort and time that you have taken to provide your review on store apps. However, we would suggest you to try signing out from Microsoft Store and sign in back and check if you are getting the
Update option. If the issue still persists, please follow the steps mentioned below and check.

1. Search for wsreset.exe in search bar.
2. Right click on the Run command and select Run as administrator.
3. A command prompt window will open after which the Microsoft Store will open.
4. Then try updating the review.

You can also log on to online
Microsoft Store and provide your review suggestions.
