Windows 10: Microsoft Store Install Service starts up randomly despite auto-updates disabled?

Hello, I have a big problem with the Microsoft Store Install Service.Despite all apps being up to date There is no activity in App history.As you can see Update apps automatically is disabled. There are no activities in App history. Yet this Microsoft Store Install Service will not stop randomly starting up!!!! This is extremely infuriating to the point I want to return to Windows 7. The service is set to Manual. I had this problem in the past, but I didn't bother any further other than to manually disable this service.The problem is that disabling the service does not correct the erroneous be

I have freshly reinstalled Windows 10 Pro a couple of days ago.





All my store apps I have fully updated.

I have made the settings to not auto update. And yet Microsoft Store Install Service Manual will start randomly on its own!

I understand I can disable this. But why is it starting randomly on its own?!?! I would like to see it remain as Manual but not randomly start up. Is there anything that can be done to stop it from automatically starting without manually disabling it?

Hello, I tried setting enabled.



Even selecting the option to Turn off the Store application does not turn it off! It says in the group policy editor that it only applies for Enterprise and Education versions.

The Microsoft Store Install Service randomly starts despite App history showing 0 activity.




All background apps are turned off. I had this issue in the past and I simply disabled the Microsoft Store Install Service manually. But I would still like to see it not start by itself!

I'm not even launching any of the store apps when that happens.
