Windows 10: Microsoft Store Keeps Crashing

Hi, My Microsoft Store Keep crashingSome days before I got minecraft for free by taking the ownership of windows.applicationmodel.store.dll from System32 and sysWOW64and replacing it by another file. The file was virus free.It was working fine. Both minecraft and store worked well But then I tried to speed up boot time by running cmd commands like checkdisk and some more cleaning solutionsafter that my minecraft got crashed it didin't opened and also microsoft store crashed.It shows just one frame and gets crash I tried many solution but neither of them worked1 Press Windows key + X&nb

Hi,

My husband bought an Asus X541S laptop a few days ago.

I have not been able to use the Windows store ever since I got the computer.

I have fun the troubleshooter, fixed time, done all the steps as suggested, but Windows store keeps on crashing every time I click on an app I want to download.

Please help.

It is possible that an add-in causes your Microsoft Word to crash. I suggest that you open your Microsoft Word in safe mode to identify an add-in or extension that causes the issue. Please follow the steps outlined in this support article:
Open Office apps in safe mode.

If you're able to launch Microsoft Word in safe mode, try to check and disable an add-in. Please follow the steps below:

1. Click File > Options > Add-ins
   
2. Towards the bottom of the window, where it says Manage, click the
   Go button
   
3. In the dialog box, select the add-ins you want to disable or remove.
   
4. To disable the add-in, just uncheck the box in front of its name. To uninstall the add-in select it and click
   Remove
   
5. Click OK to save your changes.

Microsoft Store keeps crashing

I have an issue with the Microsoft Store. It crashes when I open it. The problem is I’ve purchased the Xbox Game Pass for PC but I am unable to activate it in the Store because it requires that I buy it!

I tried the “wsreset” troubleshooting step - but nothing, I tried the powershell command - it didn’t help either. I reinstalled the Store and it didn’t help again.
