Microsoft Store keeps showing apps that don't need updating

Over the last month or so, my Microsoft Store keeps having around 12 "updates". I have installed them multiple times, but they keep coming back.

When the "updates" finish installing, it says something like "Modified 27/02/2020" DD/MM/YYYY. This shows me that the last actual update for this specific app was the 27th of February, so I don't understand why the Store keeps asking me to install these 12 seemingly "pointless" updates.

Once "updated", they all pop back into my Downloads list after around 2 days, all the time.

Here's the troubleshooting steps I have tried so far:

1 Run "sfc /scannow" in the Administrator Command Prompt

    2 Run "WSReset.exe" using Run

3 Run the Store Apps troubleshooter

4 Ensure that the Microsoft Store has the latest update

Even after trying these fixes, they are still coming up in my Downloads list as I explained above.

Ideally, I do not want to reinstall the troublesome apps. Some of them e.g. Microsoft Photos, Microsoft People are built-in apps that can't be uninstalled anyway.

I am using Windows 10, version 1909. I have all the latest system updates for this version. I am aware that Windows 10, version 2004 is available now, however I am waiting for it to become available for my laptop in Windows Update rather than using the Update Assistant.

    Thank you in advance.

    :)
