Windows 10: Microsoft store missing

I am Tired now, literally tired, frustrated and annoyed.


So, I have been experiencing issues ever since I bought the game pass and it wasnt showing up in my store, I tried some powershell command fix/clearing cache fix and that lead to my windows store crashing everytime I tried launching it.

Before all this, my windows store worked perfectly.


Now I went online again to check for "Store crashing" fixes and I found a bunch of fixes which do absolutely nothing.

Eg. wsreset and powershell commands like get app package, and also creating new user account.


I updated to version 2004 2-3 days back thinking that might help, I was wrong, a new problem showed up, all store related apps and store were showing up as "ms-resource", even the store itself, which made me realize, the store is completely gone from my laptop.

I went online to check any fix for this and still found same old steps which do nothing.


My last hope was "Reset this PC" option, and even that didnt work.


In summary, MS store doesn't exist in my pc and all apps gone as well with it.

I would really appreciate if any of you "moderators" and actually provide a fix.

Store app is missing.

  Are you signing in with Microsoft User account or local user account?
  

I suggest you to follow these steps and check if this helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + R key to open Run.
  
• 
  Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
  

Restart the PC and sign in with Microsoft User account and check if you are able to find Windows Store icon.

Microsoft Store app missing.

I had a brand new Dell Precious laptop where Microsoft Store and Windows Calculator was missing from day 1. I have tried everything suggested with 10 steps guides etc, loads of PowerShell commands but nothing worked.

So the solution in the end for me was to re-install everything, starting with a Windows 10 release 1903 edition. That has successfully been upgraded to release 1909 and the Microsoft Store etc. is now available and the apps now work as expected.

 

Microsoft Store is Missing!!

My Laptop (HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC ) was running on Windows 10 - Version 1903. Since, it was working slow, keypad was not working properly and troubleshooter was not running, it decided to reset my laptop.

After reset, the above mentioned three problems were solved, but I found that the Microsoft Store is missing.

Now, these are the methods that I tried to get the Microsoft Store back, but didn't worked-

1. Tried Restarting laptop several times.

2. Updated my laptop to Version 1909, thinking it would restore the Microsoft Store, but this method also failed.

3. Tried Powershell method-

• Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisalbeDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

4. Tried "wsreset.exe" in Run.

5. Tried Windows Store Troubleshooter.

6. Tried DISM commands-

• Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
• Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
• Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

7. Since, Microsoft Store is not listed in "Apps and features" in Settings, I couldn't try it resetting from there.

8. At the end, tried resetting my laptop again. But, again Microsoft store is missing.

After all this, Microsoft Store is still missing. Please, help me to get Microsoft Store back.
