Windows 10: Microsoft Store Not Installing Updates, Same Error Code 0x80246007

Installed on ‎26/‎11/‎2020
OS build 20262.1010
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.27510.10320.0

on a Processor IntelR CoreTM i7-10710U CPU @ 1.10GHz 1.61 GHz

Installed RAM 32.0 GB 31.8 GB usable
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor


Microsoft Store will not update any app, even after a reinstall of Windows 10.


I have 17 apps pending an update, all coming with the same error code.


I have looked everywhere on forums and nothing has fixed this issue.

XBox app update error 0x80246007.

XBox update shows as downloading then installing but then shows error code 0x80246007 and restarts download, install, error code all over again and keeps repeating this loop.

 

Error codes 0x80070490 and 0x80246007

I am operating Windows 10. Recently, "Mail" stopped working from both the home page and "Apps", then Money, Photos and News.

I tried various things but ultimately uninstalled "Money" and re-installed it direct from "Store". Initially the system said it was already installed on my PC but after a couple of goes, it tried to install but not wholly successfully. Now, if I click on
the icon the system goes to the Store update page.

From there the system tries to update Money, Sway, One Note, Camera, Photos + Mail and Calendar but all of those "Fail" and come back with error code 0x80070490. Also, the system tries to update People, News, Films and TV plus MSN Weather but they also "Fail"
and come back with error code 0x80246007.

Can anyone help, please?

 

Windows Store app updates returning error code

Windows 10 Store shows 26 updates for apps. When I try to run update all they return the following error codes: 0x80073D02, 0x80246007. Plus this message "Try that again error, see details Try that again, something went wrong. The error code is 0x80070490,
in case you need it.



I have tried running several of the fix's suggested on this forum of one which returns this message: Potential Windows Update Database error detected 0x80070490 fixed, then here is the other one Windows Update components must be repaired. fixed

I do a complete restart then try to update a app in the store and get the same error code repeated again. So none of the suggestions are really a fix for this problem. Microsoft needs to address this bug in Windows 10 with the store app updates.
