Windows 10: Microsoft store only using half my bandwidth

Whether I'm using the store app built into windows 10, or the xbox app, the download speed is consistently almost exactly half of my actual bandwidth. I've checked delivery optimization settings and they are all maxed out, so that's not it.

I recently decided to try out the PC game pass, and downloading is taking way longer than it should be.

The microsoft store is the only application that gives me this problem. Why is MS throttling me?

To resolve your concern, we suggest that you reset your apps to restart or reset the network bandwidth that they consume per app.

Here's how:

• Press Windows + R on the keyboard.
• Type msconfig, and then click OK.
• On the General tab, click the Normal Startup, and then click OK.
• When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.

If the issue persist, we suggest that you contact your Internet Service Provider for additional bandwidth on your network.

bandwidth can't be detected because of missing api's.tried new microsoft app wifi analyzer

If yes, then I suggest you to follow the below steps to run the
Widows Store Apps troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  On the search bar, type Troubleshoot and press
  Enter key.

  Click on the View All option located on the left menu pane.

  Locate Windows Store App and click on it to run the troubleshooter.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
