Windows 10: Microsoft Store Pending

Hello,I have a new PC. I have signed into microsoft store but I cant install any apps.I find the App then press install and it says "Pending" and is permanently pending.I have tried these options but none of them work1. Sign-out and sign-in to your Microsoft Account in MS Store.2. Run TroubleshooterOpen Settings => Update & Security => Troubleshoot => Windows Store Apps => Run the Troubleshooter.3. Do let us know the exact issue you are facing in accessing the Windows Store?

Have you tried to reset the Windows Store as stated in the above response?

If the issue still persists after deploying the above troubleshooting steps, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
and check.

Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter, troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
Large icons.

3. Click on
Troubleshooting.

4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

5. Click
Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Microsoft store not working properly Showing Pending

Hi Vishal, my name is Neil and I'm a Windows 11 user like you.

Sorry you've got these 'pending' updates.

Please try the following and see if this fixes the issue:

Close the Microsoft Store.

Using your keyboard, press and hold the Windows Key + i to open Settings.

Click on Apps > Apps & features.

Scroll down the list of Apps until you find "Microsoft Store". Click the 3 dots at the end.

Click on "Advanced options".

Click the "Reset" button.

This will reset the Microsoft Store App.

Before opening the Store, I suggest you reboot your computer.

After rebooting, open the Microsoft Store and make sure you are signed into your Microsoft Account by clicking on the people icon towards the upper right of the Store window.

After signing in, click the Library icon on the lower left hand side of the window and then click the "Get updates" button.

App store and Microsoft account

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
