Windows 10: Microsoft Store search page does not work FIX

When I search for something in the Microsoft Store, the search page is not displayed. Instead, the page loads indefinitely. Only the limited result display as a dropdown is shown. When I search for something in the Microsoft Store, the search page is not displayed. Instead, the page loads indefinitely. Only the limited result display as a dropdown is shown. Everything else works without problems.

Windows 10 version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.4046)

Microsoft Store Version 22401.1401.2.0

Windows updates are up to date.



What I have already tried:

- Relogin

No fix



- Settings -> Update & Security -> Troubleshoot -> Additional troubleshooters -> Windows Store Apps -> Run the troubleshooter

Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem



- WSReset.exe

No fix



- Settings -> System -> System Components -> Microsoft Store -> Advanced options -> (Terminate / Set default system components / Repair / Reset)

No fix



- sfc /scannow

No errors



- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth

No fix

- dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

No fix



- Re-register by "Add-AppxPackage -register "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.WindowsStore_22401.1401.2.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\AppxManifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode"

No fix



- Appsdiagnostic10.diagcab

No error and no fix

The client was restarted after each attempt.

When I create a new user under Windows and then open the Store, the search page works. However, this is not a solution for me.

EDIT (FIX):
I have found the fix. First, the app must be removed using this command:
- Get-AppxPackage -alluser *WindowsStore* | Remove-Appxpackage

Then the store must be re-registered with this command:

- Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Then restart.

The difference to the previous re-register command is that "-AllUsers" is also specified as an argument.

We suggest resetting your Windows store to help with your issue. To do that, please follow the steps below:

• Type Settings on Cortana search box then press Enter.
• Click on Apps.
• On the Search this list box, type in Store.
• Click on Store then click on Advance options.
• Click on Reset.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
