Windows 10: Microsoft store stuck at "Starting download..." or "Something went wrong on our end." when...

Hi,Today I wanted to download a program for games from Microsoft Store. When I was downloading the program; it would be stuck on "Starting download..." Tried restarting my PC; but Microsoft Store would say "Something went wrong on our end." or something along those lines. Is there a way to fix the problem? Thank you.

Microsoft Store won't allow me to install anything (Stuck on starting download, or just doesn't do anything)

I'm setting up an HP Smart Tank 500 up for schoolwork, and the last step is to install the HP Smart software off of the Microsoft Store. But for some reason it won't let me install it at all. It gets stuck on "Starting Download" and never starts, or sometimes
it just doesn't do anything when I click "Install."

I asked for some help from a friend to see if she could download it, and she said she could do it just fine. Does anyone know what's wrong? I'd be glad to take any suggestions.

 

Windows Store App stuck downloading but when refreshed changes amount downloaded.

One possible reason why your download is stuck may be due to a corrupted file. We suggest that you try the following steps below:

Method 1: Sign out/sign in

• Open the Windows Store app.
• Click on the account logo in the upper-right corner of the app, then click on your account name.
• Click on you account name in the new box, then click Sign out.
• Click on the icon in the upper-right corner again, then click Sign in and choose your account name again.

Method 2: Reset Windows Store cache

• Click Start, then type wsreset and select wsreset.
• When the Store app opens, see if your downloads are working.
