Windows 10: Microsoft Store - Unable to download or update - hanging or crashing apps

Basically, I am unable to download or update any apps within the Microsoft store. The apps just hang there until eventually crashing or just never moving. And when/if they move it is at a snail's pace.I've had this problem for a while and I can sometimes fix it. I've done the app reset and repair, run the command wsreset.exe, even gone into PowerShell and have done the reset there. I have also run the trouble shooter and it just comes up with "hanging or crashing apps - Not Fixed" and is unable to fix is. What other fixes are there? And why does this happen?

Try this,it worked for me,no longer get 'hanging/crashing apps' when running troubleshoot :-

1. Select Start Windows logo Start button > Microsoft Store Shopping bag-shaped Store icon.

   Select More Three-dot More icon (three dots) near the search box, then select Downloads & updates.

   On the Downloads and updates page, choose Get updates.

In case that the troubleshooter didn’t help on this matter, we suggest that you reset the Microsoft Store. Kindly follow the steps:

• Press Windows + R keys to run the command box.
• Type WSReset, then try downloading the app again.
