Windows 10: Microsoft Store will not open [BOOTCAMP]

I cannot get MS Store to open for me. I am using Windows 10 Home edition on a 2016 MacBook Pro. Windows 10 has always worked great for me on Bootcamp, and I've never had a problem until I resized the Bootcamp partition recently (doubling it from 500 GB to 1 TB). After I reinstalled Windows, I found I couldn't open the Windows Store app anymore. I messed with various "solutions" I found on the web, and none worked (most having to do with making the same changes to the registry).


I'm now on a fresh reinstall of Windows (via a new downloaded installer) and the problem is still occurring (I haven't made any changes yet). Does anyone know why this might be happening? Believe it or not, I just want to download iTunes. macOS Catalina broke me, I'm moving media over to Windows.

To resolve your concern about Windows Store, we suggest for you to follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + R key to open Run.
• Type wsreset.exe and press
  Enter.
• Restart the PC, sign in with your Microsoft user account and check if you are able to find Windows Store.

I would suggest you to clear the cache memory of the Windows Store app.

Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run window
  
• 
  Type wsreset.exe and hit enter.
  

Now try to open Windows store and see if that helps.

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
