Windows 10: microsoft store will not open ,keeps crashing

everytime i click on the Microsoft store app it starts to open and then shuts down. i tried some of the suggestiosn,but none have worked

My Microsoft Store keeps crashing on startup.

I tried every step posted by Sumit in his post here

One difference is that in step 4. (Check for necessary services) I don't have "Windows Store" on the list of services, even after reinstall. (But it might be under different name as this is not an EN install)

I also tried steps from Fix Microsoft Store Crashing on Windows 10 | SoftwareKeep Including taking ownership of the WindowsApps folder

I also tried scanning drives for file system errors:

sfc/scannow

chkdsk /r /f

But issue did not improve

Finally, I did clean install of Windows (removed all partitions and let Windows do all the job). After fresh/clean install, Microsoft Store still keeps crashing

I thought the issue might be related to my Microsoft account. So I created new one and added a user with it. When I logged in as the new user, Store is still crashing the same way.

I'm desperate. Can someone help?

Hi ivee,

Open an Admin PowerShell window and type:

• winget install 9WZDNCRFJBMP
  

See if that reinstalls the Store app.

If that doesn't help, please try "Method 2" in this article to download the Store appx installer and install it:

• Reinstall Microsoft Store in Windows 10/11
