Windows 10: Microsoft Store won't install any apps

When I try to Download an app from the Microsoft Store, no matter if it was an already purchased paid app, or if it is a new to me free app, it won't install it. The store says "you own this app", but pressing the install button is either not possible because the mouse button turns into a red strike-through circle when hovering over the install button, *or* I can choose on what drive I want to install, but then it just doesn't start it. I have tried a lot of troubleshooting tips, like the wsreset command and logging out of the store and back in again, and restarted the computer several times, but nothing changes. When doing the windows troubleshoot it has told me there was something wrong with the registration, but it says it fixed it, however the problem persists. Please help me, I would like to use the apps I have paid for and they are exclusive to the Microsoft Store, unfortunately.

I have a core i5 with an nvidivia graphics card I tb hdd and 8 gb ram

I have tried the diagnostic for microsoft store and it say cache may need fixing.
