Windows 10: Microsoft Store won't open after uninstalling XBOX Windows 11

My XBOX app has given an error message"0x80070490" every time I try and update it. I figured I could just delete the app and then reinstall it to see if that fixes the issue. I uninstalled the app in the Microsoft Store and the entire application crashed and hasn't open since. I've tried running command prompt and PowerShell commands as suggested on some of the other discussion posts, but none have worked. My laptop is up to date and the time zone is correct. I cannot access the actual Microsoft Store settings in the Settings app outside of troubleshoot. Troubleshoot has told me that it's beca

Windows won`t open an program when using Microsoft user

Windows won`t open an program when I try to open it with Microsoft account user, but when I login with local account, that program opens. I have tried with 2 Microsoft accounts, 1 admin and 1 normal user, and it won`t open in either one of them. What can cause this?

I suggest you to reset Windows Store Cache and check if it helps.

  Press Windows Key + R key to open run box.

  Type WSReset.exe and hit Enter.
  

 

Microsoft Store won't open after uninstalling XBOX (Windows 11)

Please try this if it helps.

Please make sure to uninstall the Microsoft Store and Xbox app first.

**Uninstall the Microsoft Store app:

Press Windows key + X

Click and Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator. Copy and paste the command below then press Enter.

get-appxpackage *WindowsStore* | remove-appxpackage

**Uninstall the Xbox app

Open Settings then select Apps

Under Apps and Features, find Xbox app

Click it then Uninstall

Once the two apps are uninstalled, install the Xbox app from the link below

https://aka.ms/XboxInstaller

Restart your computer then open the Xbox app

This will prompt to install the Microsoft Store app
