Windows 10: microsoft store - you might need to take action in another window

im just trying to download this painting app and i pressed download but i realized it hadn't moved in hours so i cancelled it and installed again but this time it just got stuck on installing with the message "You may need to take action in another window" underneath it. I've tried troubleshooting it, repairing it and using the wsreset.exe thing but none of that worked. There are no other windows open that it could be referring to and I've shut down my computer and closed everything out and its still not working.

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
