Windows 10: Microsoft Storefrom Windows 11 Throws 0x8007007e when Downloading Deep Rock Galactic game

What can I do to download the game Deep Rock Galactic that I Purchased?I am unable to download the purchased Deep Rock Galactic game from the Microsoft store due to the error code 0x8007007e. The failure occurs immediately upon attempting to download the game. I have tried a different game which was able to download successfully.As the microsoft store instructs, I have restarted, attempted again and tried all triage methods it directs me to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/troubleshoot-games-windows-10 . The last step of triage is to remove and reinsta

Spore Galactic Adventures Game on Windows 10

Sorry to know that the Spore Galactic Adventures game fails to work on Windows 10. I will certainly help you.

This issue might occur if the game is incompatible on Windows 10.

I suggest you to reinstall the Spore Galactic Adventures game in Compatibility mode
and check if it resolves the issue.

A compatibility mode is a software mechanism in which a software either emulates an older version of software in order to allow incompatible software or files to remain compatible with the computer's newer hardware or software. Follow below
steps:

1. Download the setup file of the game and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the game and select "Properties".

3. Select "Compatibility" Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to "Run this program in Compatibility mode" and select operating system from the

drop down list.

5. Let the game install and then check the functionality.

Games always stop with the error message "Game " has encountered a problem and needs to close.

System Snapshot fixed

System under full load or until crash occurs: GPU 59.0 CPU 52.0 (taken with speccy)

The games i played: League of Legends, Heroes of Generals, Deep Rock Galactic, Skyrim, Planet Side 2, Slay the Spire, Terraria

The PC has weird sound dropouts the complete sound just disappears, youtube videos in the background stop playing, and here it is mostly by chance whether the game crashes or continues. The Games still crash tho even if I disable Sound so im not sure if
thats just a coincidence or not.

Skyrim, Slay the Spire and Terraria never crashed, Deep Rock Galactic always crash after 3-20 min gameplay and i get the message from the Title above

 

Game : Star Wars - Galactic Battlegrounds: battlegrounds_x1.exe & windows 10

Though no official patch exists to resolve this, a fix was posted last year for this problem by a user:

• Copy file "winmm.dll" from "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" folder to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\
  
  common\STAR WARS - Galactic Battlegrounds Saga\Game".
• Rename the existing win32.dll in the Game folder to win32_old.dll
• Rename the winmm.dll to win32.dll
• Start the game with a shortcut to battlegrounds_x1.exe

You can also right click, select properties and change the compatibility mode to Windows XP SP2 if you are still

experiencing problems.
