Windows 10: Microsoft Store's cancelled download occupied all my disk space

so i redeemed my xbox game pass on pc code and i wanted to download MCC,but realized i cannot wait today and planned to dl tomorrow so i cancelled the download.

Now the download stole all my disk space despite not being here. i've literally got 4,50GB left.

i dont know what to do?! i looked up and reset the store, reboot my computer and my disk space is still occupied,despite the game not being here, and i cant get it back. this is an absurd.


EDIT: i fixed it in the end. Gosh,not getting anything from the ms store ever again.

Whatever App you want to download, if you scroll to the bottom of the Overview details of the App in the Microsoft Store, the Approximate Size should be shown here. This is how much disk space the App will occupy.

Windows Store games occupying hard disk space even after uninstalling

This issue normally happens if something went wrong on the uninstalling process.

• Right click Local Disk.
• Choose Properties.
