    Microsoft Sudoku won't open.


    When I try to open Sudoku, it goes to the screen where it flashes numbers in the nine boxes and just keeps putting numbers in the boxes - the game won't open. I've tried wsreset.exe from responses to similar questions and it had no effect. I uninstalled/reinstalled MS Sudoku - still no effect. Any other suggestions?

    Windows won`t open an program when using Microsoft user

    Windows won`t open an program when I try to open it with Microsoft account user, but when I login with local account, that program opens. I have tried with 2 Microsoft accounts, 1 admin and 1 normal user, and it won`t open in either one of them. What can cause this?

    • Did the issue start after an update?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far to resolve the issue?
    • Does the same issue occur on your other apps?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you install all the critical and important Windows Updates on your PC by following the steps on this

    In order to understand the issue in a better manner, please share the details.


    • What do you mean by “I selected to install and I am the owner”?

    • Can you see MS Sudoku icon in the menu?

    • Is there any other programs or applications causing the same issue?

    • Have you completed installing MS Sudoku? Was it successful?
    I suggest you to download MS Sudoku from the Windows Store and check if it works.
