  1. Microsoft Surface Crash

This morning I started my Microsoft Surface computer and a message said the C drive needed to repaired. Then I started repairing the C drive. After that was done, I got a message saying that the restart hadn't worked and it needed to be restarted. Each time I restarted it had trouble loading. One time it went directly to my desktop without asking for my password then the whole screen went black. I don't know if I imagined it, but I think the computer gave off a little spark when I first plugged in the charging cord.

Can you help me? Thanks, Tracy

    :)

  2. Microsoft launches Surface Computing

The launch of Microsoft Surface marks the beginning of a new technology category and a user-interface revolution. Surface, Microsoft’s first surface computer, provides effortless interaction with digital content through natural hand gestures, touch and physical objects. Surface computing breaks down traditional barriers between people and technology, changing the way people interact with all kinds of everyday information — from photos to maps to menus.

Key features demonstrated in the videos included:
    • Multi-touch ability.
    • Recognition and syncing of wireless devices by placing on touch panel
    • Ability to identify non-digital devices, such as a drink glass, based on shape.
    • Hand gesture system to further interact with the touch panel.
    • New, non-windows based interface.
The videos really speak for themselves. According to the website, Surface technology will be
    available in Winter 2007.

  3. Microsoft Surface Crashes During Official Presentation

I agree. I wouldn't trust the Surface if it didn't crash at its debut. *Laugh

    Surface Pro 2017, Win10Pro x64: Explorer crash Windows.UI.XamlHost.dll

^ Issue with Surface devices is that only Microsoft Signed drivers are allowed to be installed with the hardware. My system is also the Surface Pro, but the explorer crash never happened to me. I suggest to perform a system restore to the point before the issue.
