Windows 10: Microsoft Teams does not work with Rode AI-1 Mic

Dear Madam and Sir,
the Rode AI-1 usb audio interface works properly with every application but Microsoft Teams.

I have already gave every installed application rights to access the mic and made sure Microphone access is activated:

Also 'Allow Desktop apps to access your microphone' is 'on':



When conducting a test call via microsoft teams:




immediately after the beep i get the message:



followed by:



As the microphone verifiably works with literally every other application on this pc that records sound and microsoft teams works just fine with the build in mic, i am very appreciative of any guidance in this matter.

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

RODE Podcaster mic no longer working since Windows 10 "WannaCry" update

Like the title says, my RODE Podcaster mic has quit working since there was an update to fix the WannaCry ransomware loop hole. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the mic via the Device Manager many multiple times with no luck. And I even updated the USB
drivers directly from my laptop and desktop motherboard manufacturers and still no luck Have tried on three different Windows 10 devices and it's all the same - will not record audio but will play audio through the integrated headphone jack on the mic. I used
to be able to hear my voice whenever I plugged headphones into the mic, but now nothing.

Any ideas what could be causing this? It worked absolutely fine one week before the WannaCry fix.
