Windows 10: Microsoft Teams Room Realtek HD Audio randomly mute mic

Hi we have issue on Teams room mic auto mute issue. Scenario is like when we end meeting after a while start another meeting then notice mic unable send out signal to far end. When we check through Teams and Windows system found out Realtek mic in mute mode without level ramp down to 0. We have install updated Realtek driver but auto mute still exist Kindly advise anyone have solution on it.


Remark: This problem happen on all Teams Room System.

The issue could be because of the internal mic picking up sound even when the external device is pluuged in. If you have the RealTek HD Audi Manager installed on the machine, I would suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works for
you.

• Open RealTek HD Audio Manager and go to the
  Advanced tab.
  
• Check the boxes Separate all input jacks as independent input devices
  and Mute the internal output device, when external headphone is plugged in,
  and hit OK.
  
• Exit RealTek HD Audio Manager, restart the machine and see if the issue persists.

completely remove Realtek HD Audio Drivers

Dear Team

It is really irritating that poor performance of MIC in Realtek HD audio. I. am having latest driver for Windows 10 64bit. I am uninstalling it and configured the system by Microsoft HD audio. But the realtek re installing again and again, and disabling
Microsoft HD audio Driver. Please guide me for the complete uninstallation of Realtek HD audio Driver

Headphone mic not detected by realtek HD audio

Hi chaosagency! Welcome to Tenforums.

Try to unplug mic cable and plug it back. Drivers should ask what device a re you using. Try different connection, that works sometimes.

Check that you haven't muted the mic.. and what says the recording tab in sounds?
