Windows 10: Microsoft tech screwed up my computer and I unlock it

I contacted Microsoft regarding laptop suddenly being slow and so many things running in background. The tech took my screen and tried to reboot in safe mode. Since then I can't get back into computer. I get error message saying something happened and PIN not available click reset PIN. I tried and I get another box saying I need an app for that and asking if I want to search the store for that. I've hit both yes and no and all it does is take me back to my lock screen. Ive restarted it by pressing the shift key and the reset icon on screen. I just want to get back into my computer, tech

Microsoft tech 2 screwed up my computer! Now what do I do to get help! Everyone I talked to at Microsoft transfers me to someone else now! You erased my external hard drive with all my work on it stored. I have My case number to all of the work and to
the original problem that still remains! Where can I complain to really get some GOOD help with this new problem? If this keeps going I will make a claim with the BBB and Attorney General's office! So I better get some good help very soon! Again I ma on hold
and been 4 1/2 hr. doing this! Not at all happy with Microsoft!

• When you set up the account, did you create a local account or Microsoft account?
  
• What is the exact error message you get when you try to login?

I suggest you to check if you have activated two step verification for your account. If yes, I suggest you to turn it off and check.

Also check if the Windows Update was successfully installed on your computer.

• Press Windows Key + I and click on Update and Security.
• Under Windows Update tab, click on Advanced options
• Click on View update history and check if the update is installed properly.
